Girls 5P Empowerment: Phase 2

Note: This activity is regional, all in-person meetings (Lexington, KY)

Max: 15 participants

This program focuses on Goal Setting & Visioning and Career Coaching.

The participants will be educated on OBY's five foundations pillars as well as applying those skills in a safe environment.  Those skills are: 

1. Recognizing and Overcoming Fear (Getting out of Comfort Zone)

2. Effective Communication (How to Be Heard)

3. Mindfulness  (Nutrition, Physical, Mental)

4. Life-Skills

5. Motivation through education and awareness

6. And Career Coaching!

At the conclusion of this program, the participant will gain a better understand the importance of setting atttainable goals  and visioning through the education and application of critical life-skills. Participants will understand traditional and non-traditional career paths, and the importance of community service. 

Participants are required to present their completed Vision Board, Goal Status and Overall Learnings at the end of the program.

Wed.    Sept 6 :     Meeting 6 - Fearless Activity

Wed.    Sept 20:    Meeting 7 - Money Management Activity

Sat.      Oct 7  :       Meeting 8 - Community Service Activity

Tues.    Oct 10:      Meeting 9 - Manufacturing Tour / Career Coaching

Wed.    Oct 18:      Meeting 10 - Professional Day - Etiquette

Wed.    Oct 28:      Meeting 11 - Graduation
