About the event
Horses have a rich history in Kentucky and in their relationship with humans. They have been utilized for work, show, cultural rituals, consumption, therapy, and companionship and continue to serve in many of these roles today.
OBY in collaboration with the Kentucky Horse Park would like to give girls of color the opportunity to learn basic skills through horse mentorship as well as an opportunity to learn how to ride horses during this activity.
Participants must commit to completing all three sessions due to the limited capacity.
Capacity: 12 participants
Duration: 1 session per month
